New to the world of blogging. I have created this blog in hopes of expanding my online resources for baseball card collecting; meeting other fellow collectors and sharing my experiences in collecting. I send a lot of Thru The Mail (TTM) Autograph requests and hope to share my experiences with others in success and failure rates on those. My first success for 2017 was a couple weeks ago with Kurt Suzuki sending an autographed 2014 Topps and personalized letter for my niece (probably his biggest fan). I received the request back in 6 days!! He is a great guy and we will sure miss him playing in Minnesota! I currently have 10 cards sent mostly to Spring Training last week I am hoping to receive all of them back; I have another 12 ready to go out in tomorrow's mail mostly to Spring Training as well. After dropping these in the mail I won't be sending any additional cards to Spring Training this year. I haven't had much of a success rate from sending to Spring Training last year; I am not sure if I had bad timing or if it was just the players I sent to. It was all Minnesota Twins players and I only received back a signed TC Bear card from our Mascot. All other player requests have not been returned yet from last year. I have avoided mailing any Minnesota Twins cards for requests this year; as the return rate was zero last year. Which is disappointing as they are my local team that I watch and cheer for all summer long. I am a huge fan of baseball in general and love the sport! I have favorite players all around the league and enjoy watching all teams.
As of today Opening Day 2017 is only 50 days away!!
